Hi Inland Lakes Community,
I am excited to announce that a new member is joining our school family this November – Banks, our therapy dog! Banks is trained to provide comfort and support to our students and staff, making our schools an even more welcoming place.
Banks was trained at North Paws in Lake George, Michigan, to interact safely and warmly with everyone. He’ll be visiting classrooms, attending events, and offering comfort when needed. We know he'll bring a lot of joy and smiles to our students.
Officer Lalonde, our School Resource Officer, has agreed to be Banks' handler. Already committed to keeping our students safe, Officer Lalonde is a perfect fit for this role and will help Banks settle right into our community.
Please join me in welcoming Banks and Officer Lalonde to our Inland Lakes Schools! We’re looking forward to the happiness and comfort they will bring to all of us.
