The grant is to support growing place-based education programming activities at Inland Lakes Schools. The grant is part of a proposal from NE MI Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative (NE MI GLSI) that was recently funded. The lead teacher, Mrs. Bekki Heckman is currently in the process of developing a team of supporters among the staff and in the community.
